Antique Wash Wicker Oval Picnic Basket with Lid
An oval picnic basket woven in full antique wash willow, with cream faux leather hinges and a double lid opening either side of the arc handle. Take it unlined, or with a removable cotton lining in navy blue, garden rose, white, grey sage, or a red or blue gingham check.
Each half of the lid lifts on its own, so one side stays shut while you reach in. Nothing is strapped inside, so it carries a picnic one day and fruit or bread on a shelf the next. Linings lift out to wash, and unlined shows the willow.

FAQs
Does it come with plates and cutlery?
No. This is an empty basket, which is why it costs a fraction of what a fitted hamper does and why the whole inside is usable. If you want the crockery included, our fitted hampers carry settings for two or four.
Why does it have two lids?
Two lids meeting at the handle mean you only ever open the half you need. On a breezy hillside that is the difference between losing the napkins and keeping them.
Which lining should I choose?
White and grey sage are the quiet ones and suit a basket that will be used for storage as much as for picnics. Garden rose and the two gingham checks are the ones that look like a picnic. Unlined shows the willow and is the easiest to brush out.
Does the lining come out?
Yes, on every lined version. It lifts out, washes, and goes back in once dry, so the same basket can be lined in summer and bare the rest of the year.
