To clean a wicker picnic hamper, remove any excess crumbs or dirt, then take a damp cloth (not too damp as moisture can damage the wicker) and wipe down the basket. Then take a dry cloth, wipe down any leftover moisture and leave to air dry.

Yes! All the Northern Willow baskets are handcrafted with materials sourced from fast-growing, regenerating crops that are cultivated solely for this purpose. No chemicals are applied to any of our materials, allowing us to sustain traditional farming methods. Our supply partner is one of the very few basketware manufacturers that have attained SEDEX (Supplier Ethical Data Exchange) certification.
Cut out your chosen piece of linen fabric and glue it to cover the inside of the hamper to create a lining; it’s really that simple!
At Northern Willow, most of our picnic baskets and hampers come with a lining already built in, so you don't have to worry about putting your own in.
If you’ve purchased a wicker picnic hamper as a gift, why not fill it with a nice set of tableware so that it’s ready to use? You could even try filling it with some cute treats so that they can use it straight away!

Here at Northern Willow, we have a 28-day return policy. This means you have 28 days from the date you receive your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
- In the same condition as it was when you received it.
- Unused.
- Have tags intact.
- In its original packaging.
You’ll also need your receipt or proof of purchase.
