This lidded wicker storage hamper is woven from full slate grey wash finish willow, measures 36 x 24 x 24 cm and weighs 800 g. Grey faux leather straps hold the lid to the body, and a removable cotton liner covers the inside. Integral handles sit in the short ends. Does the lid stay attached to the basket?

Yes. Two faux leather straps join the lid to the back of the body, so it hinges open and cannot be mislaid. There is no catch or buckle on the front, so the lid rests closed rather than fastening shut.

What is the liner made of?

Cotton. It lifts out of the body in one piece, which makes it easy to shake out or wash when it picks up dust.

Are the straps genuine leather?

No. They are a grey faux leather, listed as such on our supplier sheet. Nothing on this hamper is animal hide.
