Is the set three different sizes?

Yes, one each of the medium, large and extra large, 4 kg for the three. They nest for storage and step up evenly when they are out on a shelf.

Will they fit standard shelving?

The medium at 25 cm front to back suits most shelf units. The large and extra large, at 30 and 35 cm, need a deeper shelf or a wardrobe base. Check the height above the shelf too: these run 19 to 27 cm with the lid down.

White or Grey Sage?

The basket is identical; only the cotton lining changes. White reads cleaner inside a wardrobe, Grey Sage is the quieter of the two against a painted wall.

Does the lid stay shut?

It is hinged with faux leather straps rather than latched, so it sits closed under its own weight. Lift the lid rather than the strap when you open it.
