This 14 inch antique-washed empty wicker hamper basket is a willow hamper with a hinged lid, grey faux leather straps and integral handles, measuring 36 x 26 x 15 cm and weighing 600 g. It comes unlined or with a cotton lining in black, navy blue, red or white.
Empty is the point: this is the hamper shell on its own, for filling with whatever the occasion calls for. It shares its 36 x 26 x 15 cm footprint with our 14 inch antique wash hamper, but the fittings differ — grey faux leather and integral handles here, cream leather and metal chains there — and at 600 g this is the lighter of the two.

What does "empty" mean here?
That nothing is included. You get the basket, the lid and the lining if you choose one, and you fill it yourself. That is what most people want a hamper basket for, whether they are making up a gift or using it for storage.
How is it different from your 14 inch antique wash hamper?
The dimensions match at 36 x 26 x 15 cm, but the fittings do not. This one has grey faux leather with integral handles and weighs 600 g. The other has cream faux leather and metal chains and weighs 700 g.
Which lining should I choose?
White is the one that reads as a gift hamper and shows off what is inside. Black and navy hide marks and suit storage. Red is the Christmas one. Unlined is the cheapest and the easiest to brush out.
Is it strong enough to post a filled hamper in?
It is a woven willow basket, not a shipping carton. If it is going in the post it needs an outer box around it, which is how most hamper companies send them.
