The picnic blanket straps to the outside of the basket rather than packing inside it. The basket is oval, full light steamed willow trimmed with tan real leather, with a hinged lid, a buckle and a swing handle.

Four acrylic glasses and a wine opener come with it, and acrylic means nothing in it breaks at a race day or on a verge. With the blanket strapped on it stands taller, so allow for that in a boot. Food and crockery travel separately, which keeps the basket light for its size.

What exactly comes in the box?

Where does the blanket go?

It straps to the outside of the hamper, which is why two heights are published: 36 cm for the basket and 45 cm with the blanket on.

What are the straps made of?

Tan real leather. The grey version of the same shell uses a faux leather instead.

Does it actually chill anything?

No. It has no cooler compartment, so treat it as a picnic hamper rather than something that keeps food cold.
