Is the finish white or grey?

The finish is a white wash over wood. If you would like to see how it looks in daylight before you order, email us and we will look at a tray here.

Do the sides stop things sliding off?

They rise 9 cm on the small and 10 cm on the large, which holds keys, post and jars in place on a flat carry. It is a tray rather than a crate, so nothing is enclosed.

What do I save buying the pair?

The set of two is priced below the two trays bought singly. The trays themselves are the same, at 33 x 23 x 9 cm and 38 x 28 x 10 cm.

Can hot pans go on it?

No. The wood is unsealed, so keep hot pans off it and use a trivet.
