Flat-sided oak effect wood rather than a weave, with an arched handle fixed over an open top and nothing lining the inside. Two, four and six bottle capacities are made: the four bottle is square in plan, the six bottle a taller rectangular frame built around beer bottles.

Solid sides wipe down with a cloth, which is the argument for wood over willow on something carrying bottles between a kitchen, a car boot and a table. In between it stands on a worktop with bottles on show. The wood is not finished for outdoor use, so keep it under cover.

Are the six-bottle slots sized for wine or for beer?

The six-bottle is a beer bottle carrier at 27 x 18 x 28 cm. The four-bottle takes bottles generally. We do not list an internal slot width for either, so email us with your bottle diameter and we will measure one before you order.

Is an opener built into any of these three?

No. The opener belongs to a separate listing, our Oak Effect Bottle Carrier With Opener, which is a four-space carrier at 18 x 18 x 28 cm.

What does the 11.5 to 30 cm figure mean?

The lower number is the height of the wooden body and the higher one is the height to the top of the arched handle. Measure a shelf against 30 cm if the carrier is going to live on one.

Has the wood been treated for outside use?

It is wood with an oak effect finish, not treated for outdoor use. We would keep it indoors or under cover.
