Frequently Asked Questions

What makes this a stumpy wicker basket?

The basket has a distinctive low, rounded shape, with its widest point around the centre rather than at the opening. This creates a squat profile that works particularly well beside fireplaces and in smaller storage spaces.

What is the difference between the Small and Large sizes?

The Small basket measures 35 cm in diameter at its centre and 23 cm high to the rim. The Large measures 43 cm in diameter and 31 cm high to the rim. Including the handles, their overall heights are 30 cm and 38 cm respectively.

What is included in the set of two?

The set contains one Small and one Large Antique Wash Wicker Stumpy Basket. Both feature the same traditional willow construction, hessian lining and integrated side handles.

Can I use these baskets for storing logs?

Yes. Their rounded shape and hessian lining make them suitable for storing logs and kindling beside a fireplace. They can also be used for blankets, cushions and other household belongings.

How should I care for my wicker basket?

Keep the basket in a dry indoor environment and regularly remove dust or loose debris with a soft brush. Gently brush the hessian lining as needed, and avoid prolonged exposure to moisture.

Please note: As these baskets are made from natural willow, slight variations in colour, weave and dimensions may occur. Please allow approximately ±5% dimensional tolerance.
