Antique Wash Wicker Round Log Basket
This round wicker log basket is a hessian-lined willow basket in two sizes, woven in a full antique wash with rope handles pushed through the rim. The small stands 38 cm high on a 30 cm base and opens to 42 cm across at 1.3 kg; the large is 50 cm across and 46 cm high at 1.8 kg, for firewood, kindling or a tall houseplant.
The small tapers by 12 cm from rim to base, keeping its footprint tight while leaving the opening wide. We have not published a base figure for the large: our supplier records the diameter at the widest point only. Send us a message and we will put a tape over one for you.

FAQs
How wide is the base on the small?
Thirty centimetres across, against 42 cm at the rim. That 12 cm taper is what lets it tuck into a shallow modern hearth while still opening wide at the top.
Why is there no base figure for the large?
Our supplier records only the widest diameter for that item. We would rather print nothing than a guess, so email us and we will measure a basket for you.
Can a plant pot go straight in?
Yes, if the pot has its own saucer. Willow is unsealed and the hessian is jute, so neither should be watered through.
How is the grey colour produced?
It is a full antique wash finish, applied by our manufacturer across the whole rod. The colour softens with age, which is the willow behaving normally.
