This small oval tray measures 24 x 17 cm across the rim and 9 cm deep, narrowing to an 18 x 11 cm base, and weighs 100 g in full buff willow. It holds keys and post by a front door, or rings and cufflinks on a bedside table.

At 100 g it is the lightest item in our tray range. The oval rim gives it no corner for small items to wedge into.

Is there a larger oval in the same shape?

Not in this exact profile. If you want oval and bigger, our willow shopper and trug ranges are the closest, though both are deeper baskets rather than trays.

Is the weave tight enough for coins and keys?

Buff willow is woven tight enough to hold keys, coins and pens. Anything finer than an earring back may find a gap, so line it with a cloth if you are keeping small jewellery in it.

How do I keep the willow looking well?

A dry brush or a vacuum nozzle on low takes dust out of the weave. Keep it out of direct sunlight if you want the honey colour to stay even, and away from a radiator, which dries willow out.

Is it sturdy at 100 g?

Pick it up loaded and the rim holds its oval. It is a light tray because there is little willow in a 24 cm shape, not because the weave is loose.
