The Ravenstor is our four person deluxe hamper, woven in full light steamed willow with tan real leather fittings and a suitcase handle. It measures 58 x 38 x 22 cm and weighs 7.9 kg packed. Inside are settings for four, a cooler bag, a bottle duffle, a 143 x 118 cm picnic rug and a 750 ml flask.

It shares its shell, its fittings and its contents list with our Deluxe Fitted Wicker Picnic Hamper in the four person size; the Ravenstor is the livery. The flask and the steel mugs are what set the deluxe hampers apart from the rest of the range: somewhere to carry hot tea makes a February walk as workable as a July picnic.

How is this different from your Deluxe Fitted hamper?

It is the same 58 x 38 cm shell with the same fittings and the same contents. The difference is the livery: this is the Ravenstor, where the Deluxe Fitted comes in classic cream or green tweed.

How heavy is it to carry?

7.9 kg packed, before any food goes in. That is a car boot hamper rather than something to walk a mile with, which is why it has a suitcase handle instead of a woven one.

Is the leather real?

Yes. The carry handle and the fittings are tan real leather, not the faux trim used across most of the range.

What does the flask add?

750 ml of hot drink, and four stainless steel mugs to pour it into, each carried in a woven basket of its own rather than loose among the crockery. It is the part that makes a hamper work out of season.
