This 2 person nature slope-sided hamper is an antique wash wicker picnic hamper with tan faux leather trim, measuring 40 x 29 cm with sides that slope from 22 cm to 28 cm, 39 cm to the top of the handle, at 2.3 kg. It comes with two 7 inch porcelain plates, two glasses, wood effect handled cutlery for two and a wine opener.

The sloping sides give the hamper a back 6 cm taller than its front. It is the same shell as our Ravenstor slope-sided hamper, and the difference is the fittings: this one has tan faux leather and wood effect cutlery, where the Ravenstor has real leather, stainless steel cutlery and gold rimmed plates.

What does slope-sided mean?

The back of the basket stands 28 cm and the front 22 cm, so the top slopes down towards you. It is a shape borrowed from traditional carrying baskets, and it makes the contents easier to see and reach once the lid is open.

How does it compare with the Ravenstor version?

Same basket, different trim. This is the antique wash one with tan faux leather and wood effect cutlery. The Ravenstor is light steamed, with real leather, stainless steel cutlery and gold rimmed plates.

Is there a cooler?

No. The contents are plates, glasses, cutlery and a wine opener. If you want a cooler built in, our chiller hamper and the Ravenstor four person hamper both have one.

How should I look after it?

Wash the plates and cutlery as normal. Keep the willow dry, let it air if it has been out on damp grass, and store it only once it is fully dry.
