This 2 person blue tweed hamper is a light steamed wicker picnic hamper with tan real leather trim, measuring 40 x 30 x 19 cm and weighing 2.3 kg. It comes with two 7 inch porcelain plates, stainless steel cutlery for two, a bottle opener and a removable cooler bag.

The leather here is real rather than faux, which is the main thing separating this hamper from the antique wash ones at a similar size. At 2.3 kg empty it is heavier than the chiller hamper at 1.9 kg and the 14 inch fitted at 1.5 kg. The cooler bag lifts out, so it can be packed and chilled on its own.

Is the leather really leather?

Yes. The trim on this one is tan real leather, where most of our picnic hampers use a faux leather. It is the reason this hamper costs what it does and the reason it will mark and soften with use rather than staying uniform.

Does it include glasses?

No. This one carries porcelain plates, stainless steel cutlery, a bottle opener and the cooler bag. Our four and six person hampers add wine glasses, napkins and salt and pepper.

Can the cooler bag be used separately?

Yes, it lifts out. That means it can be filled and chilled in the fridge overnight and dropped into the hamper on the day, rather than having to cool the whole basket.

How should I look after it?

Wash the plates and cutlery as normal and wipe the cooler bag out. Keep the leather dry, and let the willow air fully before it goes away.
