This dark brown bamboo packing tray is a shallow woven tray in two sizes. The small measures 31 x 19 x 9 cm on a 26 x 15 cm base and weighs 75 g; the large is 35 x 23 x 10 cm on a 29 x 18 cm base at 125 g. Bamboo rather than willow is what makes them this light.

Weight is the reason they exist. At 75 g and 125 g they are a fraction of an equivalent willow tray, which matters when the tray is going out in the post and every gram lands on the shipping bill. The sides taper to a smaller base, so they stack down to almost nothing between jobs.

Why bamboo rather than willow?

Weight and price. A willow tray of this size runs several times heavier, so if the tray is going inside a parcel the bamboo version costs less to send. Willow is the sturdier material of the two.

Will it fit inside a hamper?

The small at 31 x 19 cm drops into a 14 inch hamper and the large at 35 x 23 cm suits an 18 inch. Measure the hamper's internal base rather than its outside dimensions before you order in quantity.

Do they stack?

Yes. The sides slope in to a smaller base, so a run of the same size nests down for storage. That is worth having if you are buying a hundred for a season.

Can it hold food directly?

Use a liner or wrapped goods. It is bare bamboo with no coating, so anything unwrapped and damp should sit on paper or in a bag.
