This antique wash straight-sided tray is a shallow rectangular willow tray in three sizes or as a set of all three, unlined or with a removable white cotton lining. The small is 31 x 21 x 6 cm at 150 g, the medium 35 x 25 x 8 cm at 250 g, and the large 39 x 30 x 10 cm at 400 g. It holds cutlery, linen and stationery.

Straight sides are the distinction. Our tapered trays flare outward; these go straight up, so they use their full footprint at every level and sit square against each other in a drawer or on a shelf. At 6 to 10 cm deep they stay shallow enough to see into.

How do these differ from your tapered trays?

The sides. These rise straight from the base, so the tray is the same size top and bottom. The tapered trays flare out, which makes them wider at the rim than the footprint they take up. These are also shallower, at 6 to 10 cm against 10 to 14 cm.

Will they fit in a drawer?

The small at 31 x 21 x 6 cm suits most kitchen drawers, and straight sides mean two sit side by side without wasted space between them. Measure the drawer depth: 6 cm is the clearance you need.

Is the lining worth taking?

For anything that will sit directly on the weave, yes. The white cotton lining lifts out and washes. Unlined is lighter by 100 to 200 g and easier to brush out.
