Grey wash or antique wash, what changes?

Only the colour. Grey wash is cooler and flatter, antique wash is browner. Both holders are 18 x 40 cm at 400 g with the same lid and handle.

Does the lid stay put when the handle is used?

The handle is fixed to the lid, so lifting by the handle lifts the lid and leaves the body behind. Carry the holder by the body rather than the handle when it is full.

Is three rolls a tight fit?

A standard roll is about 12 cm across against the 18 cm internal diameter, so three stack with room to spare and the lid still seats. A jumbo roll is a different matter.

Why is there a handle on a bathroom basket?

It is how you get the lid off with one hand. It also lets you move the whole thing when you are cleaning around it.
