Water Hyacinth Square Basket in 2 Sizes
Deep, square and built over a metal framework, which is what keeps the corners sharp, so it sits flush to a wall instead of bowing away. Twisted water hyacinth cord makes the weave, with handles worked into two sides. Two sizes, or both as a set.
The depth means things go in rather than on: blankets, toys, shoes, laundry. Not much divides the two sizes, so go by the space: the larger for a living room corner or the base of a wardrobe, the smaller for a narrow gap or a shelf under a console.

FAQs
How does this differ from your other hyacinth baskets?
Depth and shape. This is the deep square one at 29 to 32 cm. Our rectangular hyacinth basket is 19 to 23 cm deep, and the shallow rectangular one only 9 to 12 cm. If you want things contained and out of sight, this is the one; if you want them visible, take a shallower basket.
Will it keep its shape when empty?
Yes. The weave is built onto a metal frame, so the sides stay square and upright whether it is loaded or not.
Which size should I choose?
There is 5 cm between them in width and 3 cm in depth, so it is largely about the space. The medium at 40 x 40 cm suits a living room corner or the base of a wardrobe; the small at 35 x 35 cm fits a narrower gap or a shelf below a console.
How do I clean it?
Dust it with a dry brush or the soft attachment on a vacuum. Water hyacinth is a dried plant fibre, so keep it out of standing damp and wipe spills rather than washing it.
