Long and narrow in oak effect wood, with sides deeper than a flat display tray's: enough to stop small loose parts rolling off the edge, while still keeping everything in one layer. They stack one on another. Small, medium and large sell singly, or as a set of three.

That is what makes them craft table trays: a half-finished job goes away as it stands and comes back out the same way instead of being tipped into a box. Beads, findings, screws, keys and jewellery are the usual contents, with a cloth in the base under anything that scratches.

Which size should I choose?

Five centimetres separate each size in length and 5 to 6 cm in width. The small at 28 x 15.5 cm is a desk or bedside tray. The medium is the general-purpose one. The large at 38 x 26.5 cm takes a whole craft project laid out, and it is the one to buy first if you only want one.

How do these differ from your shallow display trays?

Depth, mainly. The display trays are 4 cm deep in every size and made to sit out on view. These are 6 to 8 cm, deep enough to contain small loose parts, and they stack so they can be put away with the contents still in them.

Do they really stack?

Yes, one on top of another. The set of three is the neatest way to do it, since the sizes step evenly and the stack stays stable rather than leaning.

Can I keep jewellery in it?

It is one of the commonest uses. There is no lining, so lay a cloth in the base for anything that scratches easily or has a delicate finish.
