Crafted from wood with a pale vintage finish, this rectangular storage tray features distinctive heart-shaped cut-outs at either end. Its raised sides provide a useful boundary for everyday belongings, while the cut-outs double as integrated handholds for lifting and repositioning.

Place it on a dressing table to organise cosmetics and accessories, use it in a hallway for keys and post or create a decorative display on a shelf. The combination of natural wood texture and heart detailing makes the tray particularly suited to traditional and country-style interiors.

Heart-shaped end handles: Cut-out details provide useful points for lifting.

What is the difference between a wooden storage tray and a wooden crate?

A storage tray typically has lower sides and a more open presentation than a crate. This makes it useful for organising items that need to remain visible and accessible, such as toiletries, keys, stationery and decorative accessories. A deeper crate is generally more appropriate for storing larger quantities of belongings.

Can the tray be used on a dressing table?

Yes. Its raised sides make it suitable for gathering cosmetics, brushes, jewellery boxes and other everyday accessories into one defined area. The vintage wooden finish also creates a decorative base for arranging these items rather than leaving them scattered across the surface.

How do the heart-shaped handles work?

The heart-shaped openings are cut through the end panels, creating spaces for fingers when lifting the tray. They are part of the wooden structure rather than separately attached handles. Carry contents carefully and avoid overloading the tray.

Can hot items be placed directly onto the wood?

Use a suitable protective mat or trivet beneath hot objects. Direct heat can mark or damage wooden surfaces and decorative finishes, particularly where the wood does not have a verified heat-resistant coating.
