This reindeer cut-out wooden box is a white wash wooden storage box measuring 36 x 25 x 25 cm and weighing 1.2 kg, with a reindeer shape cut through the panels and hand holds worked into the ends. At 25 cm it is the deepest of our cut-out wooden boxes, and it takes wrapped gifts, decorations or a made-up Christmas hamper.

White wash lets the grain show through instead of covering it. Our Vintage Star Cut-Out Wooden Box reaches 19 cm deep and our Silver Star Cut-Out Wooden Box 16 cm, against 25 cm here, so this one holds noticeably more per box.

Does it come with a lid?

Our supplier does not record a lid for this box, so we would treat it as open topped. Email us before you order and we will confirm what is in the carton.

Does the reindeer show from both sides?

The motif is cut through the panel, so it reads from outside and lets light through from within. We have not published which faces carry it.

Is 25 cm deep enough for a wine bottle standing up?

A 750 ml bottle is usually around 30 cm, so it would stand proud of the rim. Laid flat along the 36 cm length it fits with room to pack around it.

Does it only work at Christmas?

The reindeer is the only seasonal thing about it. At 36 x 25 x 25 cm it works year round for toys, shoes or spare bedding, which is why we describe it as storage first.
