A heart is cut right through each end panel of this wooden box, and those cut-outs are the hand holds. The wood carries an oak effect finish rather than solid oak. Small and large are made, each with or without a lid, singly or in a pair.

The hearts show some of what is inside, which helps when it holds wool, cables, toys or desk clutter. A lid closes it for giving as a present and keeps dust out; left open it is a crate you drop things into and lift by the ends.

The lid sits down over the rim and adds its own thickness, taking the small from 15 cm to 16 cm and from 400 g to 600 g.
