Grey Rectangular Wicker Log Basket with Hessian Lining

Full willow with an antique wash finish gives this rectangular log basket its softly weathered grey appearance. Hessian lines the interior, while rope handles and a gently tapered base complete a tall, traditionally woven design.

Gather logs in a living-room storage area or use the basket to keep spare throws neatly together. Its upright proportions make a handsome addition beside a chimney breast or in an alcove, bringing rustic texture to both country-inspired and contemporary rooms.

How should I check whether it will work in an alcove?

Measure the widest available space, including any skirting boards, and check for shelves or other obstructions above. Leave room to reach into the basket and lift it out, rather than choosing an exact fit.

Could I use the pair to separate logs and kindling?

Yes. Keeping kindling in one basket and logs in the other makes it easier to find what you need without sorting through a mixed pile. Choose which size suits each according to your usual supplies.

Will the hessian catch every bit of dust?

The lining helps contain loose bark and debris, but it should not be treated as dustproof. Check beneath and around the basket during your normal cleaning routine.
