A small oak effect wooden box with a lift-off lid, lined in plastic, and paw-shaped hand holds cut into the sides. The lid is detached rather than hinged, so it comes away in one piece. One size.

The plastic lining is what separates this from a plain wooden box. Bare wood holds crumbs in the grain and takes on the smell of whatever is in it, whereas a lined interior wipes out with a damp cloth. It is a worktop box for biscuits, chews and training treats rather than a bulk store.

FAQs

How much does it hold?

22.5 x 14 cm across and 13 cm deep, which takes a retail bag of biscuits decanted in with room over for a few chews. It is a countertop box rather than a bulk store.

How do I clean it?

Wipe the liner out with a damp cloth and let it dry before the next lot goes in. Do not put it in a dishwasher or submerge it, because the box around the liner is wood.

Is the lid attached?

No, it lifts off completely. That keeps it simple to open one-handed, but it does mean the lid needs somewhere to go while you are digging about.

Would it work for anything other than dog treats?

Yes. It is a small lined box with a lid, so cat treats, bird seed or anything you want kept dry and contained all suit it. The paw prints are the only dog-specific thing about it.
