This antique wash deluxe garden tool basket is a willow trug with cream elasticated strapping and five garden tools, in two sizes or as a set of both. The small is 27 x 14 cm at 900 g and the large 36 x 23 cm at 1.2 kg. Each basket holds a trowel, fork, measuring dibber, jute string and wooden markers.

The tools are held by elasticated strapping rather than dropped loose in the bottom, so they stay in place when the basket is carried and go back in the same slots. Sides run from 10 cm to 28 cm on the small and 11 to 35 cm on the large.

What exactly is included?

Which size should I choose?

The small at 27 x 14 cm is the gift size and holds the tools and little else. The large at 36 x 23 cm leaves room for what you cut or pull up as well, which makes it the one for actual use.

What is a dibber for?

Making planting holes. You push it into the soil to a set depth, drop the seed or bulb in and firm it over. This one is a measuring dibber, so it is marked for depth.

Can the tools be replaced in the straps?

Yes. The strapping is elasticated, so the tools pull out and push back into the same positions rather than being fixed in place.
