These garden markers are flat pinewood labels, five to a set, with a long narrow face to write a plant name along. The pine is bare, with no varnish, paint or preservative on it.
Push one into a seed tray on a windowsill, a pot in a greenhouse or a row in a vegetable bed. Bare pine takes pencil, and a garden pen holds up better through rain. A coat of exterior varnish before planting is worth the ten minutes if they are going into a wet bed for a full season.

FAQs
How many come in a pack?
Five, sold as a set rather than singly. All five share the same 2 x 0.3 x 24 cm dimensions.
Are they treated for the weather?
They are pinewood with no finish of any kind, so treat them as bare timber. If they are going into a wet bed for a full season, a coat of exterior varnish before planting is worth the ten minutes.
How tall do they stand once pushed in?
That depends how deep you push. The full marker is 24 cm, so a third in the ground leaves about 16 cm of label showing above a seed tray or a bed.
What do I write on them with?
The pine is bare and takes pencil, and a garden pen holds better through rain. Email us and we will tell you what has worked on the ones we have used.
