A reindeer is cut through the panels of this wooden box, with hand holds worked into the ends. The wood is finished in a white wash, which lightens it without covering the grain. It is made in one size, and it is a deep box.

That depth is the point of it: wrapped presents, decorations or a made-up Christmas hamper all go in without being pressed down, and the hand holds take the weight when full. The reindeer is the only seasonal thing about it, so toys, shoes or spare bedding keep it in use year round.

Does it come with a lid?

It is an open topped box. Email us before you order and we will confirm what is in the carton.

Does the reindeer show from both sides?

The motif is cut through the panel, so it reads from outside and lets light through from within. Email us if you need to know which faces carry it.

Is 25 cm deep enough for a wine bottle standing up?

A 750 ml bottle is usually around 30 cm, so it would stand proud of the rim. Laid flat along the 36 cm length it fits with room to pack around it.

Does it only work at Christmas?

The reindeer is the only seasonal thing about it. At 36 x 25 x 25 cm it works year round for toys, shoes or spare bedding, which is why we describe it as storage first.
