This oval wicker log basket comes in three sizes of hessian-lined willow basket, all finished in full antique wash with rope handles at the ends. The small is 40 x 31 x 28 cm and 900 g, the medium 50 x 39 x 32 cm and 1.4 kg, the large 60 x 47 x 39 cm and 2.1 kg, for logs, kindling, magazines or throws.

Base measurements are published for all three: 28 x 21 cm, 37 x 28 cm and 48 x 38 cm, so the hearth footprint can be checked before ordering. Ordered together as a set of three, they come to 4.4 kg. The Oval Rope Handled Log Basket is narrower at the same lengths.

The bases measure 28 x 21 cm, 37 x 28 cm and 48 x 38 cm from small to large. The rim is wider than the base in every size, so allow for the flare above.

Will the three sit inside each other for storage?

We have not measured a set stacked, so we will not promise a full nest. Ask us and we will put three together and send you the stacked height.

Which size takes a standard log net?

The large, at 60 x 47 cm with a 39 cm depth, will take a bagged net of kiln-dried logs. The medium suits a half net or an evening of wood.
