Kubu grey rattan woven over an upright at each corner keeps this basket square from rim to base, with a rope handle set into two of the sides. Three sizes are made, singly or as a set, built to stack inside one another when empty.

Nothing lines it, so there is no fabric to catch on bark and nothing to lift out before brushing the inside down. Square sides sit flush in a corner. Logs are the obvious load; the bigger sizes take boots or folded bedding.

Is there a lining in any of the sizes?

No. All three are sold bare. If you want a lined square basket, our Square Lined Wicker Log Basket is hessian lined in both of its sizes.

Do the three sizes nest?

They are made to stack when empty, but we would not promise a flush nest without measuring a set. Ask us and we will stack three and give you the height.

What keeps the corners square?

The rattan is woven over an upright at each corner, which carries the shape down to the base. Loaded evenly, the sides stay square.

Will bark mark an unlined basket?

Bark and grit sit in the weave rather than on fabric, and come out with a stiff dry brush. Nothing has to be lifted out first.
