Frequently Asked Questions

What are the dimensions of this tall wicker log basket?

The basket measures 43 cm in diameter at the top, narrowing to 32 cm at the base. It stands approximately 49 cm high and weighs 3.4 kg when empty.

Is the log basket lined?

Yes. The basket features a fitted hessian lining that provides a fabric barrier between stored items and the natural willow weave.

Do the rope handles increase the overall height?

No. The rope handles are integrated into the rim rather than arching above the basket, so they do not add to its stated 49 cm height.

Can I use this basket for storage other than logs?

Yes. Its tall, tapered design also makes it suitable for storing blankets, rolled throws and other dry household items. It can be used for umbrellas or walking sticks, provided they are dry before being placed inside.

How should I care for my wicker log basket?

Keep the basket in a dry indoor environment and regularly remove dust and loose debris using a soft brush. Gently brush the hessian lining as needed. Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture, and position the basket at a safe distance from open flames and hot surfaces.

Please note: As this basket is made from natural willow, slight variations in colour, weave and dimensions may occur. Please allow approximately ±5% dimensional tolerance.
