The dark colour comes from the steaming itself, done with the bark left on, so nothing is stained or dyed. The hinged lid buckles shut on leather straps, and metal chains hold it on most sizes. Five sizes, each unlined or with a removable cotton lining in black, red, white, navy or grey sage.

Gift packaging and household storage both suit it: magazines, toiletries or cleaning things. The smaller sizes take a bottle and a few treats, the largest a full gift hamper. Faux leather on the smallest, real leather on two of the larger ones.
