Rattan Round Laundry Basket with Cotton Lining
This round rattan laundry basket comes in two sizes: 33 cm across and 50 cm tall at 1.9 kg, or 46 cm across and 60 cm tall at 3.4 kg. Both are woven in kubu grey rattan with a removable blacu cotton lining, and take a household wash, bedroom linen or towels.
A round basket takes less floor than a square one of the same stated width, because the corners are not there: a 46 cm circle covers about a fifth less area than a 46 cm square. Both sizes are taller than they are wide, which suits a narrow gap beside a bath or a wardrobe.

How much washing does each size take?
The large is 46 cm across and 60 cm deep, which is a family's day of washing or two full machine loads. The small at 33 by 50 cm suits one person or a spare room. Both figures are estimates from the dimensions rather than measured loads.
What is the lining for?
It keeps damp fabric off the rattan and stops buttons and zips catching in the weave. It is removable, so it comes out to be washed on a cool cycle.
Round or square for a small bathroom?
