This antique wash rope handled trunk is a full willow trunk with a hinged lid, rope handles and a buckle closure, in two sizes and five lining options. The 24 inch is 62 x 40 x 29 cm at 2.9 kg unlined; the 28 inch is 72 x 50 x 34 cm at 3.75 kg, for seasonal clothes and bedding.

The two sizes are trimmed differently: the 24 inch uses cream faux leather, the 28 inch real leather. Both are low for their footprint — 29 and 34 cm tall against 62 and 72 cm long — which is why they sit along the foot of a bed rather than in a corner.
