This round celebration basket is woven in full antique wash willow onto a wooden frame, with a real leather handle over the top. Six champagne flutes are included, held upright in a ring around a central holder sized for one bottle. There is one size.

It is used as a bottle carrier and a picnic basket, and for storage in between. The wooden frame holds the shape when the basket is lifted with the glasses in it, and the leather handle darkens with handling rather than scuffing.

FAQs

Will one bottle really fit the middle?

The central holder is 14 cm across and 20 cm deep at the body. A standard wine or champagne bottle stands in it with the neck clear of the rim, which is how the basket is meant to be loaded.

Are the flutes real glass?

Six flutes are included with the basket. If you need to know what they are made from, email us and we will check a set before you order, particularly if they are going somewhere glass is not allowed.

Which of the two celebration baskets holds more glasses?

Our Light Steamed Round Wicker Whisky Basket holds eight, but they are short shot glasses. This one holds six full champagne flutes and is the wider basket at 32 cm.

Can the flutes be replaced if one breaks?

We do not sell them separately. Our Rigid Recyclable Plastic Picnic Glass is the shatterproof stand-in we stock, though it is a tumbler shape rather than a flute.
