The tree shape here is laid out sideways, wider than it is tall and shallow front to back, so it goes along a surface rather than up from one. Split white wash willow is wound onto a metal frame that carries the outline throughout, and nothing is fitted for hanging it.
It runs down the centre of a dining table and leaves room for plates either side, and does the same along a sideboard, a mantel or a shop window. White wash leaves the grain visible rather than covering it. Unsealed willow means indoors only.

FAQs
Does it stand upright or lie flat?
It lies along a surface. At 61 cm long and only 11 cm tall it is a low piece, made to run down the middle of a table or a mantel rather than stand up.
How much table does it take up?
A strip about 61 cm long and 29 cm wide, so it runs down the middle of a six-seater and still leaves room for plates either side.
Is there a hook for hanging?
No. Nothing is fitted to hang it from, and at 300 g on a 61 cm span we would not improvise one.
Is it the same tree as the White Wash Wicker Christmas Tree?
No. That one is 30 x 10 x 37 cm and stands up on a small base. This is the long, low version at the same weight.
