Natural woodwool is a hamper filler of fine wood shavings, non-static and safe for use with food. Three pack sizes: the smallest fills around twenty-four fourteen inch hampers, the middle around forty-eight and the largest around ninety-six.
Non-static is the thing to notice if you are packing in quantity: shredded paper clings to hands and sleeves, while wood wool stays where it is put. It is coarser and springier too, so it holds a bottle steady instead of compressing flat underneath it, and being food safe it suits hampers with unpackaged bread or cheese going in.

FAQs
How much do I need?
Work from the pack figures rather than the weight: 2.5 kg covers around 24 of our 14 inch hampers, 5 kg around 48 and 10 kg around 96. Pack them generously and you will get through it faster, so round up if the numbers are tight.
Woodwool or shredded paper?
Wood wool is non-static and springier, which makes it faster to work with and better at holding a bottle upright. Shredded paper is finer, comes in colours and sits flatter in the basket. People packing at volume tend to prefer wood wool; people matching a colour scheme tend to prefer paper.
Is it safe with food?
Yes. It is hygienic and safe for use with food, which is why it is the filler of choice for hampers with unpackaged items such as bread or cheese going into them.
What does it actually look like?
Pale, fine curls of wood, rustic rather than uniform. It reads as traditional packing material rather than as retail packaging, which is why it suits a willow basket.
