Bottles travel standing rather than rolling about among the food in a hamper, and the strap can be worn long or short, which leaves both hands for everything else. Will it keep bottles cold on its own?

No. The lining is insulated, not refrigerated, so it slows the bottles warming up rather than cooling them down. Chill them first, or put an icepack in alongside.

What size bottles fit?

Two standard 750 ml wine or spirit bottles, standing upright. The basket is 37 cm tall, so anything much taller than a wine bottle will sit proud of the lid.

Is the strap long enough to wear across the body?

It is adjustable canvas, so it can be shortened to hang at the hip or lengthened to go across the shoulder.

How should I look after it?

Wipe the lining out and leave the lid open until it is dry. Willow should not be put away damp, and a cooler lining that stays wet will smell.
