This antique wash wicker tray is a willow storage tray in three sizes, unlined or with a white cotton lining, and also as a set of four. The small is 24 x 18 x 12 cm at 100 g, the large 41 x 30 x 14 cm at 525 g, and the extra large 47 x 34 x 16 cm at 600 g, for kitchen, bathroom and shelf storage.

The set of four is two smalls, one large and one extra large. At 12 to 16 cm deep these sit between a tray and a basket: enough side to hold things in, little enough to see the contents without lifting anything out.

What exactly is in the set of four?

Two smalls, one large and one extra large. There is no medium in this range. The set weight of 1.3 kg is what those four add up to individually.

Which size should I choose?

The small at 24 x 18 cm suits a drawer, a desk or a bathroom shelf. The large and extra large at 41 and 47 cm long are the kitchen and cupboard sizes. If you want more than one, the set is the cheaper route.

Is the lining worth taking?

For anything small or soft, yes: white cotton covers the weave and stops little things dropping through. Unlined is cheaper and easier to brush out.

Are these trays or baskets?

Between the two. At 12 to 16 cm they have more side than a flat tray, but not enough depth to bury anything, which is what makes them useful on open shelving.
