What is the grey border made from?

How does this differ from your plain water hyacinth rectangular basket?

Only the rim. The measurements match to the centimetre across all three sizes and so does the weave. Take this one if you want the grey line, and the plain version if you would rather have hyacinth on its own.

Is it deep enough for towels and books?
