This oak effect square 4 section cutlery holder is a wooden cutlery caddy measuring 18 x 18 x 10 cm, rising to 22 cm at the top of the handle, and weighing 400 g. Four square compartments divide the interior. It carries knives, forks, spoons and napkins from a kitchen out to a dining or garden table.

A handle above the body adds 12 cm to the height, so the whole caddy lifts in one hand with the cutlery already sorted. The wood is unlined and our supplier does not record it as food safe or dishwasher safe.

What fits in each of the four sections?

Each section is roughly 9 x 9 cm and 10 cm deep. Knives, forks and spoons stand in three of them with a folded stack of napkins in the fourth, or straws and stirrers if it is going out for drinks.

Which of the two heights should I measure a cupboard against?

The 22 cm figure, which runs to the top of the handle. The wooden body on its own is 10 cm.

Can cutlery go in straight from the drawer?

Our supplier does not record this as food safe, so we would keep it to clean, dry cutlery and not use it for wet or unwrapped food.

What else do people use the four sections for?

Pens and brushes on a desk, screwdrivers and pliers on a bench, and make-up brushes on a dressing table. Anything that stands upright and stays dry.
