Full double steamed willow, woven into a rectangular tray with sides barely higher than the base weave. Steaming the willow twice carries the colour through to an even deep brown rather than the mixed tones of an unfinished weave. Three sizes are sold singly, or all three as a set.

Everything sits in one layer, in view and reachable without shifting anything else, which is why these end up on craft tables, card-making desks and hall consoles for keys and post. Bread and wrapped fruit can go in on a cloth, and the smallest lifts in one hand loaded.

Which size should I choose?

The small at 25 x 20 cm is a desk or dressing table tray. The medium at 30 x 25 cm is the general-purpose one. The large at 35 x 30 cm takes a sheet of A4 with room around it, which is why it tends to be the one people use for crafts and paperwork.

Can I put food in it?

There is no lining, so bread, fruit and anything wrapped can go straight in. Use a cloth or a liner for anything loose, greasy or wet. It is willow, so it does not go in the sink.

What does double steamed mean?

The willow is steamed twice in production. It is a colour and finish difference rather than a structural one, and it is what gives these trays their even deep brown.

Does the set of three stack?

Yes. The sizes step up evenly and sit inside one another, so the set stores almost flat when you only need one out.
