Open Ended Rattan Log Basket

Woven from kubu grey rattan, this rectangular log basket has a lowered front edge beneath a fixed arched handle. The substantial weave and softly muted colouring give its open shape the character of traditional fireside basketware.

Keep a selection of logs or kindling together beside your fireplace, where the lowered front makes the arrangement easy to reach. Its natural texture also sits attractively among stone, timber and simple upholstery, making useful storage part of the room’s decoration.

Key Features

Kubu grey rattan: Distinctive natural texture.
Lowered front: Creates an accessible opening.
Arched handle: Completes the traditional basket shape.

Where should I position it near a fireplace?

Choose a level spot that leaves the fireplace or stove’s required clearances unobstructed. Keep the rattan away from flames, sparks and hot surfaces.

How can I keep the floor beneath it tidy?

Brush loose bark from logs before placing them inside and check beneath the basket regularly. A suitable protective mat can make occasional debris easier to collect.
