This luxury Ravenstor picnic blanket is a fleece picnic rug measuring 142 x 117 cm, made from 100% polyester fleece with a waterproof PVC backing and weighing 800 g. It folds into its own carry case and goes under a picnic or a barbecue.

The PVC backing is the side that goes against the ground and the fleece is the side you sit on. Folded down it is about 5 cm deep. The carry case is stitched to the blanket rather than sold separately.

Which face goes down on wet grass?

The PVC backing. Our supplier records it as waterproof, so it is the side that takes the damp, and the fleece stays dry on top.

How should the fleece be cleaned?

We would not put the PVC backing through a machine. Wipe the backing down, spot clean the fleece and hang it to dry.

How many people will it seat?

Four at a squeeze on 142 x 117 cm, comfortably two with a hamper between them. It is a rough guide rather than a measured one.
