This lavender tartan picnic rug is a fleece picnic blanket measuring 142 x 117 cm and weighing 800 g. The face is 100% polyester fleece and the back is a waterproof PVC layer, and it folds into its own carrying case for picnics, beaches, festivals and touchlines.

Our supplier records the make-up as 100% polyester fleece on a waterproof PVC backing, so one face is soft and the other is the one that meets damp grass. The PVC wipes down with a cloth. Our supplier has not given washing instructions for this blanket, so we will not guess. The PVC back wipes down with a damp cloth. Email us and we will ask before you order.

Which side goes on the ground?

The PVC side. That is the waterproof layer, and the polyester fleece side is the one to sit on.
