This green tweed cooler bag is a PVC lined picnic cooler in a cotton and polyester tweed, with a handle sewn into the lid and two zips. The large is 37 x 27 x 14 cm at 300 g and the small 26 x 17 x 16 cm at 200 g. Both keep food and drink cool for a few hours at a time.

The two sizes are different shapes rather than one scaled down. The large is wide and shallow, so a tray of sandwiches or packed containers lie flat in it. The small is boxy and taller, which stands bottles and jars upright instead of laying them over.

How long will it keep things cold?

A few hours rather than a day, depending on the weather and on what goes in. Insulation slows heat getting in; it does not chill anything. Cool everything first and add a freezer block for a longer day.

Which size should I choose?

The large if things need to lie flat, because at 14 cm deep it will not stand much upright. The small at 16 cm deep takes bottles and jars standing, and drops inside a hamper more easily.

Will it fit inside a hamper?

The small will go into most of ours. The large at 37 x 27 cm needs one of the bigger hampers, so check the internal base measurement of yours before ordering rather than the outside dimensions.

How do I clean it?

Wipe the lining out with a damp cloth and leave it open to dry. It does not go in the washing machine.
