Our square lined wicker log and storage baskets are hessian-lined willow baskets in two sizes, finished in full antique wash with rope handles set into the rim. The medium is 33 x 33 x 26 cm, 32 cm to the handle, at 1 kg; the large is 42 x 42 x 34 cm, 40 cm to the handle, at 1.7 kg, holding logs, laundry, a plant pot or general clutter.

Both sizes are wider than they are deep, so logs lie flat in them. The medium shares its 33 x 33 cm footprint with the small Square Grey Rattan Log Basket, but stops 8 cm shorter. A set of two weighs 2.7 kg.

How deep are they inside?

Twenty-six centimetres on the medium and 34 cm on the large, measured to the rim. The hessian follows the inside face, so it takes very little off those figures.

Are the handles rope or willow?

Rope, set into the rim on two sides. They add 6 cm to both sizes, which is the difference between the height and the figure in brackets.

Is the pair better value than two singles?

Yes. The set of two is priced below the medium and large bought separately, and it arrives as one delivery.

Will the large hold a full laundry load without sagging?

It is 42 cm square with a 34 cm depth and weighs 1.7 kg empty, so there is a good amount of willow in it. Lift it from the base when it is full and the rim stays square.
