This square storage basket is woven from natural water hyacinth around a supporting metal frame. A grey twisted-paper border finishes the upper rim, while integrated side handles complete the practical design.

Use its deep interior for folded blankets, dry laundry, toys or household accessories. The defined corners sit neatly alongside furniture, and the natural weave adds texture to a bedroom or living room.

Water hyacinth weaving: Distinctive natural plant-fibre texture
Metal frame: Supports the upright square form
Grey paper-cord border: Contrasts with the body of the basket

What is the grey border made from?

The upper edge has a twisted paper-cord border in grey. It adds contrast against the natural woven water hyacinth.

Can it hold blankets or bedding?

Yes. The deep, open interior is well suited to folded throws, lightweight bedding and other dry household textiles.

Is it suitable for laundry?

It can hold dry laundry or towels, but avoid leaving damp clothing inside. Natural water hyacinth should not remain wet for extended periods.

What does the metal frame do?

The supporting frame helps maintain the basket's square corners and upright walls as it is used.
