How many people does it take?

Yes. The case is part of the blanket rather than a separate bag, so it cannot be lost. Fold it in, fasten it, and carry it by the handle.

How do I clean it?

Wipe the PVC side with a damp cloth and let it dry completely before folding it away. Putting a blanket back damp is what makes it smell.

How does it compare with your polar fleece rug?

This one is larger at 142 x 180 cm against 150 x 140, it has a 600D PVC backing, and it folds into a case. The fleece rug is the softer of the two and doubles as an indoor blanket, which this does not.
