A cream cool bag in polyester with a PVC lining, boxy in shape, with two zips and a handle sewn into the lid. The PVC is the part that holds a temperature, which bare basketwork cannot do.

It sits upright in a wicker hamper, or goes on its own in a rucksack for a packed lunch, a day out or a beach trip. Chill the contents first and add a freezer block in warm weather, because insulation slows heat getting in rather than refrigerating. Wipe the lining out and leave it open to dry.

How long will it keep things cold?

That depends on the weather, what goes in it and whether you use a freezer block. Insulation slows heat getting in, it does not refrigerate, so chill everything beforehand and the bag will hold it for a few hours rather than all day.

Does it come with ice packs?

No, the bag only. A standard freezer block sits flat in the base.

Will it fit inside a hamper?

At 26 x 17 x 16 cm it fits inside most of our larger hampers alongside the plates. Check the internal dimensions of yours if it is one of the smaller sizes.

How do I clean it?

Wipe the PVC lining out with a damp cloth and leave it open to dry. It is not for the washing machine.
