An oval buff willow basket with a lid that splits into two halves on either side of a willow arc handle. Two sizes, Classic and child's, and every one is supplied with a removable lining: red and white check, blue and white check, or navy blue.

Picnics, produce, gift packing and open shelf storage. The leather differs by variant: real dark brown on the navy Classic, dark leather on the red and white, tan faux on both child's baskets. The child's size takes a packed lunch, a few books or a small gift made up in tissue.

The process of basket weaving with willow is naturally sustainable due to the relatively quick growth of the plant fibres. The artisans use traditional weaving methods and techniques to create highly decorative, but durable, pieces.

Can I order one without a lining?

No, not in this range. Every variant here is supplied lined. If you want the bare buff willow, tell us and we will see what we can do.

Which linings come in the Child’s size?

Red and white checked and blue and white checked. Navy blue is listed on the Classic only.

Is the leather real on every version?

No. The navy Classic has dark brown real leather, the red and white Classic dark leather, and both Child’s baskets tan faux leather.

What fits in the Child’s size?

At 29 x 22 x 15 cm it takes a packed lunch, a couple of books or a small gift made up in tissue. It is not big enough for a family picnic.
